We were delighted to be invited to YYY FM – Community Radio’s Community event in Ferny Hills yesterday all in aid of Guide Dogs Australia. Despite the changeable weather there was a good turnout for music, food, vintage cars and a number of community and business stalls.
We were lucky enough to be part of The Founding Mums tent with Denna who is the host and National Developer in Australia for this supportive business community. If you are looking at starting your own business or have one already it is well worth checking Founding Mums out. Denna also owns Milk Bottles an online children’s boutique and has been extremely supportive of Knotlace and lots of other businesses too. Here she is with her great motivational posters for children (or adults!) Love them, we are all about empowerment. Which one resonates with you? I love the I am grateful one.
It was great to meet so many families who also loved Knotlace – from toddlers upwards! Here is Denna with her 2 daughters modelling Knotlace – Karmadee was so intrigued with it we couldn’t get her to look at the camera!
We were too busy to take many photos during the event (but not quite as busy as the face painters who were bombarded!), but here is one of our display.
Our competition got a great response too and our winner has just been notified to collect her prize – congratulations Robyn! We got so much positive feedback from men and women about Knotlace and new ideas on ways to wear it too. Thank you so much to everyone for coming to have a play and for all your ideas – I was buzzing afterwards (and still am!)
Jazz was running the kids Karaoke stall and is part of Forte School of Music in Windsor , I am not sure if she will ever want to hear ‘Let it Go’ from Frozen for a while! I think it is fair to say that Jazz fell in love with Knotlace yesterday afternoon and kindly sent us some FAB photos on Facebook:
We also met up with the amazing Jane from Friends on Feet, the children’s shoes that offer so much more than that as it is also assists with children’s development and emotional needs and they are sooo cute too. Jane is also a Founding Mum and is another very supportive business woman. Jane, Denna and I below:
Ann Whittaker from House of Colour personal style and image consultant stopped by and wore a Long Silver Knotlace here in a completely new way which looked fab! Would expect nothing less of Ann, of course.
All in all a fantastic afternoon, made special by so many people, that I can’t mention you all, but thank you to you all. We have lots of work to do now on following up all these fantastic ideas you had!
So appreciate everyone’s time and support. As I write this, I am truly grateful.
