Here Is To Your Confidence!
My name is Angela Barbagallo and I am a Personal Stylist and Body Shape expert. Over the next few weeks I will be sharing with you some incredible tips about your body shape, how to accessorise, what colours look great and how to create a wardrobe that you love.
Emma, the inspiring CEO of Knotlace, approached me to share my 15 year experience of dressing thousands of women just like you. Real women – like you – with kids, mortgages, jobs, changes in hormones, weight gain, weight loss, who often have 5 minutes to get dressed in the morning.
What I often see is that the confidence that women have in their body is extremely low. The internal “itty-bitty-sj-committee” is often in full force polluting the mind with continual harsh comments about one or more particular parts of their body. Does this sound familiar? What parts of your body don’t you feel great about? How often do you check out your wobbly thighs, flabby arms or your jelly belly?
I will be honest to say that I check out my love bubbles (a.k.a cellulite on my thighs that has been there since I was 12, so 30 years) every time I walk past a mirror. I honestly don’t know if I am kidding myself that looking at the love bubbles makes them smaller or if I just let myself getting bullied by my inner-voice.
In other words, you are not alone!
Quite often when I ask my client what their best feature is, I often get the answer “I don’t have any” or “I don’t know”. What if I asked you this question, what would you say?
LIFE IS TOO SHORT AND PRECIOUS
Let’s make a promise to each other that life is too short and precious and your physical and mind health is the number one priority.
These days, too many women get struck with life-changing diseases, where the size of their arms, stomach and bottom is the least of their worries!
SO let’s go for it together and break through the daily habits on being down on your body. Be kind to your body and just follow the tips on how YOU can be a confident dresser over the next few weeks.
I really want to stress that it is a super important step in you looking amazing to let go of negative body thoughts. It will lift the veil that holds you down.
How would you feel if someone told you negative stuff to your face ALL day long. Quite frankly it would probably make the News as the biggest BULLY in town.
Let’s SAY OUT LOUD this first Declaration of Style as it is a biggie!
“I LOVE all parts of my body UNCONDITIONALLY”
Your body is all you have and it is a magnificent machine. Age, childbirth, menopause and other factors will most probably change your shape, where you carry extra female curves and what feels comfortable. No need to fight it!
Embrace the changes and, Gorgeous Woman…. you are in the perfect spot right now to learn lots of smart tips!
